So excited to finally have these iPhone covers available for sale! All are the Barely There Slim Case style from Casemate and are compatible with 4 / 4S iPhones.
This is sort of a test run, so there’s currently a very limited number of each. Please email me if you have any questions, or are interested in purchasing one in particular.

After a couple years in a row of making some of my favorite costumes, this year for Halloween my friend & I went as the aliens from John Carpenter’s They Live. We constructed the faces from masks we bought at a craft store, and my husband dressed up as the hero, played by Rowdy Roddy Piper.

East Coast, No Coast, West Coast
Well I meant to post these a few weeks ago, but things got a bit busy and I just now remembered!
I recently took a much needed break from NYC and headed to Chicago to visit my family, and then went on to LA with my sister for the Crazy 4 Cult opening and book signing at Gallery 1988. It was so much fun! Here’s a few of my favorite pics..

Well, I’m Back
After an unexpected drive down to Georgia, I’m finally back in my studio and I’m actually painting! I know, I can’t believe it either. I’m working on a few pieces for the 2011 iam8bit show in LA. I can’t reveal any details just yet, but I will say this, this show is gonna be a good one.
I swear I will soon turn this back into an actual art blog, but until then, here’s a few snapshots from this weekend:
8 Cities, 3 Months
So you may have noticed that I’ve been sort of MIA recently.. I’ve been doing a bit of traveling for special events with Coach and Reed Krakoff, as well as squeezing in a quick trip to Toronto to visit some friends. Yesterday I spent 10 hours in LA and 14 hours in the sky.. Next week I’m off to Detroit. After that though, I’m back to the studio (finally!) to get lots of painting done, with lots of new updates.
I can’t seem to keep track of where I’ve been or where I’m going, but here are a few snapshots of my travels to Bal Horbour, Palm Beach, Toronto, Las Vegas, Beverly Hills, Costa Mesa, and San Francisco.
Thriller Warning
Stopped at Niagara Falls a couple of weeks ago on our way up to see friends in Toronto and saw this sign.. Is it me or is this sign also warning of possible zombies doing the Thriller??

Snow Vultures
I just returned home from an 18 hour work-trip to sunny Miami (trust me, I wish it had been longer!), and literally missed the 2nd largest snow storm this month– AGAIN!
The weird thing was, a few hours before I left, about 20 seagulls circled our roof for over an hour. They were making all sorts of creepy noises, and when I went up there, they screeched even louder. Flashes of The Birds came over me, and decided it would be best to go back downstairs..

My Christmas Tree
Since I travel back to Chicago for the holidays, in the 10 years I’ve lived in Brooklyn, I’ve yet to have a real Christmas tree in my apartment. So this year, I think we may resurrect our studio Christmas tree from a couple of years ago.
Made of dead umbrellas that we found on the street during a rainy night in NYC, it’s hung from the ceiling, weighted down with a rock, topped with part of a hubcap, and decorated with fortune cookie fortunes we collected for the year. It’s pretty ghetto, but it makes me happy anyway. Happy Holidays!
