ELLE Girl Korea

I was so honored to be contacted by ELLE Girl Korea for a feature in their December issue.   I answered a few questions for them, but I’m not quite sure what they ended up using, since I don’t read Korean.  :)  It still makes my inner teenager squeal with joy though.  I have to say, the issue really is beautiful.. the photography is incredible!

Anyone read Korean?

UPDATE:  A lovely reader translated this for me in the comments below.. I think the text going from English to Korean back to English, a few things got lost in translation, but I think you can get the gist of it.

    Roughly in English,

I am New Yorker who likes zombie movies, audio books, candies, and cats. I work for NYLON, THE NEW YORK TIMES, and GQ as an illustrator and had exhibitions in Chicago, New York, LA, Miami, and Tokyo. My Favorite tool is very thin brush that I use it for vivid flash paints. If you are not a genius, you should have very concrete idea and concept. That’s why my works have stories in them. I try to express things that many people can relate to such as first kiss and childhood bully. My work habit is drinking coffee until my hands are shaken, and then drawing all night. Currently, I am preparing for a huge illustration. It was inspired by stuffs I found in the library and also while I was travelling. It is very new thing to me since I have only worked scale drawings. I am very busy traveling and blogging now. I always carry my laptop and save inspirations from my childhood, classic horror movies, toys, fashion, and travels.
