99 Seinfeld References
UPDATE: It’s been a long time coming, but there are T-SHIRTS!
Also, Gallery 1988 is now selling small prints of these for only $10!! Check ‘em out HERE
So as any die-hard Seinfeld fan knows, references to the show can be made to just about anything. Since I find myself practicing Seinfeldology almost daily, I decided to take a sampling of these and throw them into a giant heap. Here’s piece #2 that I created for Gallery 1988′s Idiot Box, a group show all about cult TV classics, (with object key below).. Serenity NOW!
P.S. There are a few extra items hidden in the piece for BIGTIME fans.

Amazing!!!
Well done!!!

TWIIIIIXXXXXX!!!!!!
:)
I have money in hand when these(hopefully) come available!
I would love to have a print of this!
Put it on a tshirt! :-D
There are a couple of errors in the key.
29. Apple Pie (Made by Poppy and his unwashed hands)
– The apple pie was from the coffee shop. Poppy made a pizza at his restaurant with his dirty hands that Jerry refused to eat.
54. Elaine’s goldfish (that almost die while lost in the parking garage)
– The fish did actually die. When Kramer finally found his car after looking for his air conditioner, he asked Elaine what happened to her gold fish. Jerry made a “no” head and hand action, indicating that Elaine was upset that her fish died in the plastic bag.
Wow, simply amazing.
I would buy a T-shirt of this in an instant.
Shirt of tomorrow: Seinfeld references…
This piece of artwork would make for an incredibly cool T-Shirt. Some people love Seinfeld, for others it’s a hate relationship… but there’s no denying this is a great piece of design. It contains 99 references to Seinfeld episodes……
Where’s the defective wheelchair that lands Kramer’s girlfriend in the hospital? “She’s got everything I want in a woman – except for the walking.”
Is there a larger version of this image? Would you consent to my use of this image and answer key in a slideshow as an icebreaker activity for an education workshop?
Great work!
I love it !! My friend and I reference Seinfeld to real life situations all the time . I wont look at the key until I have at least 99 . TWIIIIIIIIXXXX !

it’s actually one hundred references. the bag of oranges is there but not listed in the key. (you’ve been living in america too long, you forgot what it’s like to have no oranges)
jmp478 don’t make comments if you don’t know what’s going on. The apple pie was in the coffee shop as well as Poppy’s. The whole point is that she ate the pie at Poppy’s but not at Monks.

i need one to hang in my house please sell them!!!!!!
Careful that the real Mrs. Seinfeld doesn’t “simultaneously” think of this idea “first,” like she did her cookbook.
Love the idea of making this available. (What a copyright nightmare!) Great concept and execution. Hope you can go with some of the great ideas above. Particularly the high calling of meeting icebreaker – who knew?
Good form. Well played!
Very cool – great work
Fun, but I call a few shenanigans.
- Baby blue looks like a pillow from the couch
-”The Kramer” – Kramer’s portrait wasn’t mentioned in the list
-There are apples or tomatoes (Mikhail says oranges) between Jerry’s legs that are not listed (I think they are the tomatoes from the roadside stand that George gets pelted w/ as revenge for the lobster in the eggs, which were revenge for the “Shrinkage”)
- Black dress the mannequin is wearing looks like the dress Elaine was tricked into buying cuz she left the store to avoid the trick mirrors
-Anything w/ writing was too small for me to make out, The Human Fund, cereal boxes (which were stacked on side like books), Tropic of Cancer was under the Rascal, the ticket stub w/ Uma’s #
- and then there’s the double counting (red dot & cashmere sweater, pee-stained couch). Only reason the cashmere sweater is defective (and noteworthy) is cuz of the red dot.
-uh, the “Kramer” painting IS mentioned.. #60.
-and the posting also says that there are “a few extra items hidden” for fans.. such as the bag of oranges..etc.
-that black dress doesnt look like the one Elaine tried on.. that one had long sleeves.
-im sure the smallness of the items cant be helped.. unless the painting was life size.. GEEEZ.
Who is Seinfeld?
were this a page out of a “where’s waldo” style book, i would agree with all the nitpicks and criticisms, but it’s not. it’s just a fun piece of art. relax.
grape job, k!
PLEASE LINK ME TO WHERE I CAN BUY THIS!!!!
Where’s the Festivis pole??
It’s #66, behind the Rascal, under the “Executive”!

Did anyone find out where to get this?
I live in brooklyn like Essenpreis. I wonder if our geological coordinates ever coincide… I also used to live on first and first too… can’t expect her to put everything in there… almost half the stuff though…
that being said, what’s the thing above the Estelle doll’s head? It has a contour on the legend, and is green with two red specks on the color version.
what’s the deal with airline food
is there a poster of this that people can buy?

Next to the indian there is a green object with a sheen on it. Could it be something plastic like the hot tub or an inflatable that Kramer wore while swimming in the East River?
I stopped counting at 112.
Several items are multi-referential, including the mango!
The cigars are the PERUVIANS, Kramer is smoking a Cuban that itself refers to at least 3 episodes.
MOOPS!!! MOOPS!!!

On the surface level of my work, one can see a shifting of dimension and distance within colors and fields, which seem representational of various places in nature. Under this surface though, in my eyes, a painting is a center point, a culminating nexus where all the pieces of a life, in all its complexity and experience, become focused and connected. I paint in an attempt to get myself to release the hold I have on what I consider reality for a moment and be reminded of something more, a place in or outside of time and movement within memory and collective cultural ideas. My work is not landscape; I don’t see my paintings as places although the work does carry a sense of place. Rather, I see the movements left by my hand, which in turn came from those experiences I carried with me to the canvas at that place.
i enjoy watching thous paintings. they were very creative and nice to look at. visit this site and experienced a joy in you heart when watching thous. I can guarantee you that you’ll totally enjoyed.
