What can I say about the Breaking Bad Art Project, except that I was absolutely thrilled to be asked to participate! Not only is Breaking Bad one of my favorite TV shows currently on TV, but I have been such a fan of the amazing art/posters being created as part of the BreakingGifs campaign.
When I started sketching out ideas for my piece, I kept coming back to my favorite character on the show: the hilarious, slightly corrupt, sleazy but charming, strip-mall layer, Saul Goodman. What cracks me up about him most is his loud, mismatched, colorful wardrobe.
So I decided to go through each & every episode that Saul was in and document exactly what he was wearing. Yes, it took forever, but it was great excuse to rewatch 4+ seasons of great TV! They’re all individual 5in x 5in painted wood panels, each sealed in resin. Below, in order left to right, I give you 30 Days of Saul Goodman:

I just restocked some sold out iPhone covers along with a few new ones! See ‘em all, HERE.

UPDATE: Thanks for the great response, everyone! A few editions sold out rather quickly, but I will be restocking them soon, along w/ a couple new ones. Please email me if you’d like to be put on the list: kiersten {at} youfail {dot} com Thanks!
So excited to finally have these iPhone covers available for sale! All are the Barely There Slim Case style from Casemate and are compatible with 4 / 4S iPhones.
This is sort of a test run, so there’s currently a very limited number of each. Please email me if you have any questions, or are interested in purchasing one in particular.

Sorry the postings have been sort of slow the past few months, I’ve been doing a million different projects and my new painting series had to be put on hold until the end of the month. While I was working on my new site, I went through an old folder of images and came across this one.. I can’t believe I never got around to posting it!
I did The Travelers (aka: The Hair Curtains) a couple of years ago for a show in Miami, as the sister piece to One Plus Two Plus One.

It’s taken forever, but my Etsy shop is finally here! Most original drawings, sketches & doodles for $40 and under. New work added each week, so stay tuned.
This way to my shop.

Still working on a few things, so until then.. a few (rough looking) Skeletor rejects.

I’ve been meaning to do this for a long time, but am just now getting around to it.. better late than never, right? I’m going to be putting together a bunch of original drawings and sketches to be sold on Etsy!
Almost everything will be $40 and below. Look for it in the next week or two..

An old piece I did for a silent charity auction, where each artist was given a blank deck to work on. All proceeds went to benefit a skate park in Knoxville, TN

Rejected editorial sketches for a strange article on an ordinary performance of Swan Lake.

I have a large stack of various drawings and sketches that I have saved throughout the years (I have a small problem with collecting things).. Occasionally they’ll be made into finished paintings, but some never see the light of day.
For the next couple of weeks I’ll be stuck indoors working on a painting, so I thought it might be a good time to post a few of these little guys.

It’s almost here! The opening for the Monsters of Pop show at Gallery 1988 LA will be opening this coming Tuesday, August 11th. The show will feature artists Dave MacDowell, Brandon Bird, Neatherland and yours truely and should be full of endless pop culture refeneces. I’ll be posting all of my work for the show in the next couple of days.
